Maz Jobrani is a comedian and actor known for his global performances and recent standup special THE BIRDS AND THE BEES on YouTube. He portrayed "Fawz" on SUPERIOR DONUTS and appeared on shows like GREY'S ANATOMY, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, and THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT. Maz starred in JIMMY VESTVOOD: AMERIKAN HERO and featured in THE INTERPRETER and FRIDAY AFTER NEXT.
His standup specials include IMMIGRANT on Netflix and three Showtime specials. He performed at the White House in 2016 and was a UC Berkeley keynote speaker in 2017. Maz hosted the 45th International Emmys and was part of THE AXIS OF EVIL tour on Comedy Central. A regular on NPR's WAIT WAIT...DON'T TELL ME, he has given two TED Talks. His book, I'M NOT A TERRORIST BUT I'VE PLAYED ONE ON TV, is a LA Times bestseller, and he produced the documentary EVERYTHING MUST CHANGE about his sister’s battle with breast cancer.
